Stupid auto spell, sorry
Anyway I found a US company Xkitz.com that has 2 way active xover, based on linkwitz Riley 4th order.
It's a board and parts thingy with chip sockets to roll IC's.stock TL074 but they suggest OPA4227 as an upgrade.
They arrived over weekend, look high quality. We will see

Don't sell the TL074 short -- it's very musical.

Suggest putting everything except the power amps on UPS's to prevent power glitches or is BGE a lot better than PEPCO.

Don't worry WALT this is just a temporary side trip to see how the uninformed live. The Maggies and glowing glass envelops are on the horizon

Well as expected getting rid of the DSP on the ribbons was a big change. Its very listenable now.
this inexpensive Litz-Riley xover is pretty good. There are better chips to try, but now for reality check and put the Maggies back in place for a while.
The xover still needs work. that's pink noise 10hz to 20k on laptop
