I put in a few different grounding modes, so testing it with the Oracle Delphi MKI and Linn Sondek LP12 should be interesting.

Welcome to the balanced-line phono playback club. And yes -- to the naysayers -- it definitely is an improvement over single-ended RCA connections.

Nice balanced phono interface box!

Looking forward to giving this a try.

Thank you! All compliments are appreciated. Before I went to the "Dark Side" and went to an optical cartridge I was using a moving-coil cartridge with a full complimentary phono stage. XLR in XLR out.

The playback was quite remarkable -- the DS Audio came along and the rest is history.

BTW -- balanced line is perfect for moving-coil cartridges -- moving magnet not so much.

Just finished packing after CAF.

Found the wiring problem in the phono interface box and without a soldering iron no easy way to fix it.

Great to see mix4fix and Roscoe stop by. Always good to catch-up when possible.

The MG10/QR's are now with our nephew that wanted them.

He is building two 2x12 modular servo subs with old modular cabinets I had and two drivers. He has to purchase the two extra drivers and servo amps for the system to use the setup. I am building him the sub wiring harnesses.

I recommended that he get two FOSI ZA3 stereo/mono amps and change the NE5532 dual opamps to LME49720's for improved sound quality for the biamping of the planars. They are lower noise opamps with improved specs. The ZA3 has balanced inputs for dspNexus 2/8 use.

He has an Oracle Delphi MK1 turntable with SME Series III arm and Shure V15VMR cartridge I refurbished for him to use with the dspNexus 2/8 for phono. He can bluetooth into the system for streaming playback with his iPhone.
