building speakers and DIY projects is my hobby, I beleive I am in the right place here!!!

This is definitely the DIY forum for you. This bunch of "social misfits" are awesome and love the hands-on aspect of this hobby.

This crowd is always open to new ideas and my experience has been that I have not found anyone in this group suffering from NIH syndrome (Not Invented Here).

Some of these guys have a scratch-made skill level competitive with the best high-end equipment available.
