It's over a year since I packed up most of my stuff and moved to Australia. It's been a bit too hot to be comfortable in the bedroom which will become my listening area but finally, summer has ended and I got some music playing today. It's a jumble of stuff and there is a lot of tuning to do but at least I can stop listening through headphones.

The speakers are the very cheap Aussie Altronics 8" that I bought a couple of years ago. Somebody on an Aussie forum recommended them.

I have suspended them from bungee cords and run them naked. It's the same idea as what the UK bloke was doing with his PRV speakers and woofers in

https://www.khadas.com/tone1It's going to be a less than ideal listening environment and there will be numerous problems to solve, but it did feel great to hear music pouring forth. I'll be gradually trying out some other speakers and amps over time.
The Roscoe 6550 amp is ready for testing which I will try to do over Easter.
