Looks like the Linkwitz Phoenix except the woofers aren't aligned front-to-back and wired out of phase. His comments about the compression in the space between the drivers being different than the Phoenix are just plain wrong, the Phoenix is push-push too.... Paul (Don Diego) is using a pair of the Phoenix subs that I built years ago with his Acoustat 2+2s.

To me it looks valid and I find it interesting that the free air resonance is lowered. Of course as with all things audio you won't know until you build them.

They're all just variations on SLOBs, they ought to work fine. It's really mostly a question of the size/shape that works for you.
