Latest schedule is to pickup the baffles on Wednesday afternoon. Once home, can install the BG Neo10's and wire them up.

Setting up the 16 amp modules and speaker cables now to get ready for the install. Just need one set of balanced cables to finish and should be here about the same time as the baffle.

Will be putting the FPS planars and baffles into storage to make room for the new speakers. Time to reuse the speaker cables.

Bought a Raspberry Pi 3 and have the latest Raspbian OS installed. The OS comes with Wolfram's Mathmatica already installed. This is the basis of Mathcad that I used for many years.

Will be developing a document to do the time delay calculations for the beamformer for an arbitrary line array and see what happens. This will calculate the time delay's needed for any listening position distance from the center of the array. The results can then be used in the DSP crossover program to run it.

Cool approach. It wil be interesting to see how the calculated results stack up in the final measurements.

The 38 pairs of binding posts for the amp modules are complete. PE was having a closeout on binding posts, so got the number needed.

Today going to check on the progress of the new baffles for the BG drivers. Should be done, but we shall see. If so, have borrowed a friends SUV to bring them home. About a 13 month project for these baffles to get completed.

Meet The Megaliths baffles in my favorite color scheme.

Next up installing the BG Neo10 drivers and wiring them to the amp modules.

Rich:

I'm really impressed with the level of work you are putting into this project. Can't wait to hear the results.

Thanks Tom. Started ideas for these back in 1979. Finally, technology makes it possible. Probably the last pair of speakers I ever build.

Here are the 8 - BG Neo10's test fit in the baffles.

Time to mark the BG Neo10 positions and drill the 64 pilot holes for the square drive #4 wood screws. I have a nail set this time for marking accurate positions for the drill. No drill press, so hand drill time.

Much less drilling than for the BG Neo3-PDR's. That will be another 176 pilot holes.
