I have need for 0.1 uf (100nf) 450v or more coupling cap.
I generally do not like Mundorph or MusicCap. I find them very HiFi sounding.
I am looking for natural, musical sounding, laid back tending to the warmish sounding but not bloated or too slow.

I happen to like the Duelund Cast-CU/PIO. The Miflex are very nice, and WERE my go-to choice, but I have had a number of problems with oil leaking at the seals. (these were the copper foil PIO Myflex, which are better sounding than the Aluminum foil) That makes me hesitant to recommend them, unfortunately since sonically I have been happy with them.

Unfortunately, Duelund cap have a hefty price. To top it off, the best sound is bypassed with a Duelund 0.01uF silver PIO, or get the AG/CU hybrid version with built in bypass.

Duelund does have a more affordable line (JDM-Cu) that is priced the same as the Miflex. It is my understanding from Sonicraft that these do not go through the very long vacuum impregnation process as the main line.

I would like to add a budget option. The CDE 942 Series at the highest voltage rating available for the value required is a solid recommendation. These are really good. You can get them from Digikey or Mouser. These are hybrid metallized and film/foil construction, and the higher voltage values are two capacitors in series in the same envelope. They are clean and detailed. They are cheap as well. I use these quite a bit.

I have a matched pair of Miflex KFPM-01, Cu foil, 0.22uF 600VDC caps. Very lightly used, maybe ~500 hours? I installed these after my Myflex oil caps started weeping but then ended up with Duelund copper/silver hybrid oil caps. $30 for the pair. Sound is generally natural certainly not bloated or slow. I would describe them as well balanced and musical just not quite getting that magic that a Myflex or Duelund oil cap has.

I can't say enough about the Cornell-Dubilier 942C series. They are affordable and really a superb cap, with Teflon-like presentation for 1/10th the price. But if you want a warmer, more open cap that is still honest, try Audyn copper. They're quite nice. No bloating, no sluggishnerss, just open and natural.

I concur on the Audyn True Copper, but for your application I think you will need the "Max" version.

thanks for all your suggesting which I found very telling and helpful.
I have picked three to try and after I get back to this project, I will post what I fine.
I am going to order the CD caps just as a reality check.
I know there is burn in time so this will take awhile
I will do an initial burn in of 100 hrs with pink noise before any listening except for the MCaps Supreme silver/gold/oil which are well used.
