Ha, I laugh at you!
Still working on picking out an area rug, but I've got one of these:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0000DD0XU/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 being delivered on Thursday, gonna cut it in half to make two 60"x18" shelves, which will be mounted on the wall between the speakers... Still no music in the room yet though

You could veneer your horns to match the floor!

Looks Great!
Now you are going to have to refinish your amps, horns and TT to make them look as nice as the floor.

So here is a standard hammond steel chassis that has been veneered.

Roscoe, did you make those records shelves? Are they new?
I ask because I need to make some shelves (along with millions of other things) and your arrangement looks good!
Any pointers about record shelves to the Masses (from you or other readers)? Too tall, too wide, shelves too thin? Too close to the floor?
Your arrangement looks great - I love the equipment shelves, too!

I didn't make them, they're Expedit fro Ikea, unfortunately discontinued. They've been replace by the Kallax line, which is slightly different, but ought to be quite good. For the 4x4 (or larger) I recommend putting a piece of 1/4" plywood on the back to help with rigidity. Also, a strip of 1x2 across the back of each shelf would help to keep the records from sliding in too far (although I haven't done that yet).

Too close to the floor is a pain, but you're pretty much stuck with a row close to the floor unless you want to waste a lot of space.
The equipment rack I did make, it's a 60"x36" piece of maple workbench top from Grizzly that I cut in half to make two 60"x18" shelves. Link to the Grizzly piece earlier in the thread.
