I am in the processing of downsizing my stash of electronic components and have a bunch of electrolytic capacitors free to anyone who wants them. They are all from IBM computer equipment and have clamps, discharge resistors that are around 5 or 10 watts, and 1/4” faston lugs connected to the screw terminals.
The date codes are from the 80’s but I formed a few of them and the leakage currents were in the range of very low ma to ua. I did not test ESR or capacitance. Manufacturers include Sprague, Mallory, Sangamo, and Mepco. The quantities and values are:
(9) 240,000 ufd 7.5V 50ohm resistor (8) 60,000 ufd 10V 50 ohm resistor (18) 2,500 ufd 50V 1,000 ohm resistor (18) 16,000 ufd 15V 100 ohm resistor (2) 24,000 ufd 30V 1,000 ohm resistor
Any takers?
Tom
