For some unknown reason, a transformer I've been using in what is effectively a line amp let the magic smoke out yesterday. I can't find a suitable replacement in my stock (shocker!).
Hammond makes a suitable one, sort of, Antek has a nice toroid, just a bit big, and Edcor has a perfect one, 4-6 weeks away.
So, might anyone have in their stash a transformer they'd be willing to sell?
Ideally, 450VCT, 100mA or a little more. Less than 3.5" in both horizontal dimensions. 120 volt primary, of course.
Actual load is about 45mA, I like to lightly load the transformer.
Acceptable voltage range is 400-480 volts center tapped.
If a single secondary winding, 200-240 volts is all that's available, I'd alter my rectifier from full wave to a bridge. But I'd rather not.
Thanks!
Stuart
