I'm a new audiphile but would like to get into diy projects soon. Maybe start with an open baffle speaker and move on to amps and turntables. Hope to see y'all at Capital Audiofest!

Welcome FreezerBurn! I applaud that you, as a "new audiphile" are ALREADY ready to get into DIY! No need to waste time with commercial products when you can do better for a fraction of the cost AND have bragging rights!

For DIY open beffle speakers, I use these.
http://hawthorneaudio.us/and would recommend them.
