I am Bill Cruce. I live the the DC Maryland suburbs. I am a writer for Widescreen Review, thus mostly interested in video. However I got my start in audio and that still warms my heart. Some years ago I wrote for Audio Amateur. I don't know if it exists anymore.

Hi Bill:

Around 2000, Audio Amateur, Speaker Builder, and Glass Audio were rolled into AudioXpress. Ed Dell later sold it and Voice Coil to the Elektor group. It is still being published and I still write for them. You can check out their website. Today I'm just finishing up a short preview of the Midwest Audiofest Speaker Design Competition. I'll be writing a more comprehensive article on the whole MWAF and Parts Express in a few months.
