I lived in the DC metro area in the mid 90s, moved to Western, MD and then halfway across the globe. Looking forward to seeing the area again in a few of weeks

Yeah, long time no see. Of course, that was back when there was still something to find at the hamfests. You may notice that my current speakers ( viewtopic.php?f=4&t=566 ) look familiar to some things you had posted on your blog

An audio person that rebuilds cameras as well as Minis and takes pictures? Quite the Renaissance Man! Welcome to this strange group of people.
I helped a neighbor work on a Mini last year, and I think another neighbor has a special tool for clutch changes - there could be local help for you. A friend just helped me pull an engine from my car last night so I could move ahead.

Need a flywheel puller to replace the clutch. A few weeks ago my clutch master cylinder blew and is out of stock locally, hope it gets here before I fly...
