Rich, In the dspNexus setup, I presume room correction is also done. If so, which room curve do you guys use? |

The customer uses REW to make the listening chair measurements for both channels. I generate the correction filters for the room and put them into the Audio Weaver block diagram for use with the dspNexus 2/8. The block diagram lets the user have either flat response or adjustable Harman correction. The parameters for the Harman EQ are adjustable by the user in realtime. No two system rooms have needed the standard HarmanEQ curve, it is usually modified hence the user adjustable tilt and shelf filters required. If there is some other room curve wanted, it can be modeled and run in realtime in the dspNexus. |

Sorry, I meant to ask, if there is a preferred target curve to go with dspNexus. |

No preferred target curve for the system. Have customers that have no room curve added and others with HarmanEQ and moded HarmanEQ to their preference. When I looked over the Harman curve research, there was a range of parameters that were chosen by listeners and the standard Harman curve is an average. |

I was curious as I will be trying out Convolution engine in HQPlayer for the next few weeks. |
