WRT Audio connections, low mass is usually better, even if they look cheap. Sudden changes in "sectional density" can cause issues. For speaker connections, these tube connectors are a good example of a smooth transition from one piece of wire to the next. mix4fix wrote: Is it me, or does the ones with the screws look less cheap?

These "Wago-style" connectors have taken over the junction box wiring market. https://www.wago.com/us/discover-wire-and-splicing-connectors/221 https://ideadigitalasset.com/DAMRoot/Original/10069/11008_ID-SPE-v1-SNAP5362WA.pdf I won't comment on whether they are any good for that application, as I am not qualified. In general though, most innovations designed to make a professional's job easier, faster, and more foolproof will increase the number of ways that an amateur can screw it up. mix4fix wrote: Is it me, or does the ones with the screws look less cheap?
