I once attended a concert in Philadelphia where Muti conducted Messiaen's Turangalila which features the Ondes Martenot. It was the loudest piece I ever heard in a concert hall. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turangal%C3%AEla-Symphonie Today is our two-year anniversary of arriving at our unit overlooking the sea in Australia. As part of the celebrations, I will start testing a 2P29L - 45 SE amp. ray |

That sounds like a cool amp. You using a battery or SMP for the 2P29L? ratbagp wrote: I once attended a concert in Philadelphia where Muti conducted Messiaen's Turangalila which features the Ondes Martenot. It was the loudest piece I ever heard in a concert hall.

Initially, the filament bias similar to what Ale Moglia uses, but using an LM1086 instead of the Rod Coleman filament supply. The plate load is just a resistor at this stage. https://www.bartola.co.uk/valves/tag/2p29l-preamp/ If I like what I hear, then I will start making changes. ray |
