Topping D90 is supposed to be resolving and provide impactful sound but no sound stage. Chord Qutest is very good DAC. You can get it sound $1200 used. None of the PCs, apple or intel, have I2S interface. They don’t need to. USB is a natural output protocol for PCs. I2S is only used in audio/video electronics to move digital data inside the systems. PCs have very efficient and elaborate channels to move data around. |
