Just received info on a new device for subwoofer control from Parts Express. The features and price look great. I'll get one for test after I move into the new house. The interesting thing it has is dynamic EQ. You can have enhanced bass but reduce the drive at selected frequencies as the level goes up. It prevents over driving the woofer at high levels and low frequencies while allowing boost at lower levels. It works OK because ear sensitivity to low frequencies increases as the level goes up. No. I checked the 2 channel miniDSP instructions and it does not do dynamic EQ
