Some of these manufacturers should take a page out of Dave's book. Dave's hybrid is neat and clean -- McIntosh's hybrid looks like a cartoon. WTF?! |

The heatsinks are puny. Bet that the amp is biased pretty close to a Class B to get 200W from that. My heatsinks (for 25W Class A) appear to have significantly more surface area. Agree the overall cosmetic design is really ugly, like it cannot make up its mind that it is a tube amplifier or a solid state amplifier. Bipolar personality ![]() David |
