3d printing and acoustic lenses

Considering the availability of diy 3d printers the size of speaker drivers should we diy'ers be getting into making acoustic lens to optimize the spatial coverage of our systems. Look at attached paper.

3D printing is a good idea worth exploring.
Until now, I found a source what can print only 20"x16"x14". I will be getting the LeCleach upper mid and HF horns 3d printed. Lower mid horn will be big for 3D printing.

What is the difference between lens and horn.

Lens is just a directional control for sound waves, similar to registers in the ceiling for home A/C.
