I curious how to research for a manufacturer of a cable. I'm told its from Bulgaria. TwinAx design, silver over single crystal copper seven conductors maybe 30 ga, Teflon insulated one red one white conductors tinned braided shielded in black pvc cover |

What is your intent? |

Two conductors plus shield which I thought was twinax maybe I am wrong I have heard this wire and want to make my own and not pay the ridicules price it sell for |

Twinax was a cable commonly used by IBM and other computer companies to connect terminals and printers. It was quite large and stiff and probably not the best choice for audio purposes. Belden's current name for it is "Blue Hose" and for good reasons. It also has a double French braid shield which is so much easier to work with than standard shields. |

just talked with Walt and I was wrong to call it TwinAx Two conductors Teflon insulator in shield he said I could find it in the Belden cat also so I will take a look Thanks guys |

I'm confused by the 7 conductors. Also, and I know many will have differing opinions, I believe you're better of with one type of metal being the conductor, not something plated with another. It sounds like you may be trying to mimic the cable I use, and you do too. |

No. I made a cable using old S-Video cable before you dropped it off and it seems to be working fine. |
