A turntable needs to have a very sturdy stand, and this does not look to be good example of one. On the plus side, the record storage space helps load down the stand, but the overall construction using interlocking panels will result in a lot of movement of the rack. The performance of a turntable, ESPECIALLY a suspension-less turntable, is dependent on the solidity of its foundation. You can build something far better for the $400 that it is offered for. I know, I have a very solid maple turntable stand that I built with maple 1x4 from Home Depot, with a 4" thick solid maple top plate from TimberNation. I don't think it cost me more than $400, and probably worth 3 times that. David |

I didn't see how they interlocked. Never mind. I use a Sauder audio rack with a G.R.A.M.M.A. in-between the stand and turntable. ![]() ![]() |
