Has anyone tried the PC version of DIRAC Live Processor for room and bass correction? This has full automated room measurement and correction like the hardware versions.
The free 2-week trial version is online and first trial with a Dayton Audio UMM-6 USB mic with correction data is very promising.
The trial version is for multichannel, but there is a stereo only version as well for purchase after the trial. Both are about $550 for lifetime use.
Since I run a PC as a music streamer with Qobuz into the dspNexus 2/8 this it very tempting as it seems to do as well as REW and adds impulse response correction.

I haven't used Dirac Live, but I’ve had fantastic results with AudioVero Acourate. If you're spending ~$500, you might want to consider it. It does have a learning curve, but it gives you total control: you can mathematically simulate filters before applying them (catching pre-ringing, group delay, and impulse errors in advance), perform true room excess-phase correction.
