Paul,

This sounds an awful like a Schumann Resonator type device that generates low level 7.83Hz (or there about) EM. Charlie Phelps has such a device from Acoustics Revive he bought years ago and felt it made a difference. It does not do anything to the music, but acts on the listener to relax them. so in effect, impacts our perception of the music. You can actually pick up inexpensive Schumann Resonators on Amazon:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B078GH4P6D/re ... ZF2CA92EZX

It is pretty fringe.

I have a Schumann Resonators running 24-7 and I am always happy when I am in my sound room, of course, I was happy before I got the Schumann Resonator

I find a glass of wine or bourbon makes me more relaxed and I enjoy the beverage and it does invariably help me enjoy the music more. I'm sure the variety of wine, where it comes from, the age, and most of all the cost affect the amount of added enjoyment I derive, but I haven't done any scientific testing.

We need to get a government grant to study this effect ;)

I'm in! I can host one or two fully vaccinated people for a truly scientific study. Perhaps more scientific-ish, but still providing fundamental results that will no doubt be made part of the audiophile creed.

My research has determined that The Schumann effects takes days maybe even weeks to form fully in your sound room. So this will take a couple of barrels of libation.
