My our wonderful friend Debby helped make it possible for me to do a surprise proposal. She also helped me find the perfect engagement ring.

More recently, she has graciously allowed us to stay in her south Virginia apartment on a trip to Nashville. She even watched our dog while we were there.

I wanted to do something nice for her. We came up with a turntable which I set up with a new cartridge, a home theater receiver with a phono stage, and bought her several new records to go with her collection.

I built speaker stands and a small set of speakers for her. We think we've made her pretty dang happy. I know we are happy for having given a friend something to cherish.

Thanks FerdinandII! Danny would not like the cheesy binding posts, some of the PVC wiring and sand cast resistors. But, for the casual listener, they work just fine.
