Well, since this is the speaker system that inspired me to start my audiophile/music journey, this is my version after 45 years.

The line array baffles have returned from rework and ready for new holes to be drilled for the new planars.

Then test everything before doing paint touch-up on the prototype baffles.

You're such a dreamer! :D Yet you didn't have to take out a second mortgage and sell your first born to get it.

That's what DIY is all about. CHEERS! :obscene-drinkingcheers:

Gorgeous Rich! Love the color and rounded finish of the baffles. If they sound 10% as good as they look, they'll be a joy to listen to.

Mazel Tov!

Walt,
Thanks. DIY is the only way to really explore new driver and DSP technology. After seeing a system designed by the person that designed the planar drivers with a single planar tweeter, planar midrange and 12in woofer at CAF2023 for $70K/pair and it sounded very good, I knew this is my way forward.

Stuart,
Thanks for the kind comments. Now hopefully all the work to redo them was for the better. As a single driver version it was a big improvement.

Best,
Rich

With a friends help got the AGN II Line Array baffles into my listening room.

Now time to drill the pilot holes to mount the LM10n planars. Then on to wiring the planars up to the amps.

The planars fit perfectly in the reworked slot.

Now time for some pilot hole drilling.

Now time to drill 24 pilot holes for the planar mounting screws. I use brass since the magnet structures in the planars have high field strength.

Also rebuilt 6 cables to connect the planars to the amps. Will do 6 more soon.

Talk about coincidences, the pair of heavily modified IRS Reference V's I posted the picture of at PS Audio are now for sale. They want $70K for the pair.

I think I am good with the AGN II's, my room is not big enough. :o

The right AGN II Line Array has the LM10n planars installed.

Next is install the left channel planars. Then connect the wiring for the monoblock amps.
