I think Titebond 3 would give enough setup time and it has good tack.

I was told that to cut the pieces for the bass sections of Klipschorns huge DeWalt (not made anymore) radial arm saws were used with custom jigs -

The people that made my cabinets also use tape when the glue things up. It looks like you use the same tape they do.

I would think that for smaller petal type horns (Image) that stitch and glue construction ought to work quite well...

The woodworking shown in the first article is remarkable! :clap: I need to get my table saw dialed in so I can rely on it!
