You don’t need to worry about stripping apps in the tablets. Music doesn’t pass thru the tablet. Tablets just have user interface which sends commands to the music server.

I wasn't worried about music passing through. It was more to make the machine cleaner since there is so little memory on the tablet. I also needed to load the app for controlling the DEQX. There is no HD on the tablet.

Agreed, mine just runs kind of slowly when using the browser. Not worried about audio.

If you add a USB wifi to the Daphile PC, can you have a direct link from the tablet, or would you still need a router?

My music server is hardwired to my network. The tablet uses WiFi.

Trying to get the OC and tablet together by themselves. I have that on a wireless router. The web browser needs correcting.
If I add the USB wifi on the PC, can you have them directly connected?
