After borrowing a DAC, I moved my old DAC (Pop-Pulse) to my desktop computer. I use the optical from the motherboard (Asus) to the DAC, then to a headphone amplifier (Keces) to some old headphones (Sennheisers). It works fine, but then it has starts to develop static/white noise in the right side. If you reset the PC or reinitialize the output, it will work again. Is there a setting that could cause a conflict? |

I had two optical "inputs" in Windows. I deactivated the other one that is not used and that seemed to stop that issue. |

I tried hooking up via USB, but can't get it to work. Am I missing a setting? |

It may need a driver, have you checked and installed it if it does? |

You might try installing ASIO4ALL and see if that helps. |
